why this exists
An agent's account of itself is not an audit trail.
Coding agents act beyond the chat window. They change files, execute programs, use credentials, and make network connections. A clean diff shows the result, not the path taken to get there.
Agent transcripts and internal logs remain useful. They are also self-reported. Independent observation is what makes the account checkable.
